Beginning April 26th at 10 a.m., Volcano Community Foundation will will offer monthly walking tours along Old
Volcano Road to promote and educate the community and visitors about the cultural and natural history of
the Volcano area. Historic landmarks, homes, businesses, and art establishments will be highlighted along the
way from Niaulani to the road’s end. In addition, the flora and avifauna of the village will be shared. The walks
raise funds for scholarships as well as the publication of an upcoming book on the village’s history. Walk participants also will receive a one-time voucher for use at three local establishments: Lanikai Brewing, Volcano Art Center or Volcan Garden Arts restaurant. Tour cost: $20.
